Charlotte Eagles News Release

The Charlotte Eagles will make the quick jaunt to Wilmington for Saturday nights game at Legion Stadium at 7:30 PM.

The Eagles continue to struggle not able to put together consecutive wins. After a Rochester sweep the Eagles continue to search for the winning combination that will produce goals.

On another front, directly related to the Eagles performance, is the ongoing battle with injuries. For instance, Eagles' starting back Cheyne Roberts and veteran Jorge Herrera are both dealing with injuries and will not be in attendance Saturday night.

Though the rough start, the Eagles are still optimistic about the 2012 season and believe that they can turn things around.

Wilmington has a 2-2-2 start to their 2012 USL PRO season. The Hammerheads finished a trip to California, playing the LA Blues in a two game stint. Not able to bring home a win, they did capture a point.

This will be the first meeting between these two teams and both have a lot at stake. It should be a great game. If you are not able to make it, be sure to catch it on USLNation.com and watch it live.
