Indiana Ice News Release
INDIANAPOLIS -The Indiana Ice look to claim a must win victory against the Green Bay Gamblers tonight at Pepsi Coliseum. The puck is set to drop at 5:05pm.
The Ice are currently 0-2 in the Eastern Conference finals series against the Gamblers. Indy outshot Green Bay 41-27, but were doomed by three power play goals in Thursday's 6-2 at the Resch Center. The Ice held the lead for most of Friday's game two before two late goals gave the Gamblers a 3-2 victory.
Daniil Tarasov currently leads the Ice with three points (2G, 1A) in the Eastern Conference Finals series while Sean Kuraly and Robbie Baillargeon both have a goal and an assist each.
The series marks the third time in four years that Indy and Green Bay have met in the Eastern Conference finals and the fourth consecutive year they have met in the playoffs. The Ice held a 3-4-1 record against the Gamblers in the regular season and was the only team in the league holding with three wins against Green Bay.
If necessary, game four will be played tomorrow at the Pepsi Coliseum at 7:05pm. Game five would take place in Green Bay Wednesday May 9.
Tickets for tonight's playoff game start as low as $10 and there is a $2 discount for children 10 and under and seniors 62 and over.
