
Cleveland Cavaliers Assign Eyenga to NBA D-League Affiliate Canton Charge

NEW YORK, Jan. 4, 2012 ? The Cleveland Cavaliers today assigned forward Christian Eyenga to the Canton Charge, the Cavaliers? NBA D-League affiliate. The assignment marks the 15th time an NBA player has been assigned to an NBA D-League affiliate during the 2011-12 season, and the first for Eyenga this year.
Eyenga (6-7, 210), who has appeared in one game for the Cavaliers this season, averaged 6.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in 21.5 minutes over 44 games during his rookie campaign in Cleveland in 2010-11. The assignment marks Eyenga's second stint in the NBA D-League following a 15-game assignment to the Erie BayHawks last season.
