
Ahearn, Emmett Continue Streak in Bighorns Win Over Mad Ants

RENO, NEV.- The Reno Bighorns got a big win over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants Tuesday night, led by NBA D-League Co-Performers of the week Blake Ahearn and Andre Emmett. Ahearn scored 32 points and added five assists while Emmett had 29 points and six assists in the 116-103 win. Terrance Thomas supplied the games only double-double with 12 assists and 12 rebounds to go with his seven points.
The Bighorns had another great shooting performance on the night, going 58.2 percent from the field, including 50.0 percent on three-pointers. Ahearn led the shooting barrage with 11 of 15 shots made, including six of nine from beyond the arc.
Hassan Whiteside had a strong game in his return to the Bighorns after being assigned to the team by the Sacramento Kings on Sunday with 13 points, nine rebounds and six blocks.
The Bighorns complete the two-game series against the Mad Ants tomorrow night at the Reno Events Center.
