BayHawks Announce Full Slate of Promotions

Erie, Pennsylvania, Wednesday, November 16 - The Erie BayHawks, presented by LECOM, announced today a full schedule of promotions for the coming season that includes a special event, entertainer or giveaway for each of the team's 24 home games.
The schedule includes national traveling entertainers such as "Red Panda" who will perform during Opening Night on December 1, four "Five Dollar Family Fridays" in which Main Level tickets are just $5 and a Smith's Hot Dog meal deal is just $5, the New York Knicks dance team and the "Knicks City Kids" will perform on Knicks Affiliate Night on January 28, the first-ever commemorative team uniforms will honor servicemen and women as LECOM and the BayHawks "Salute Our Troops" on March 9, and the final regular season home game on April 6 features a bobblehead giveaway.
"This year's schedule of promotions exemplifies our promise to provide first-class entertainment and fun for all ages each and every game," said BayHawks team president Matt Bresee. "We're keeping our tradition of delivering a high level of professional basketball along with great promotions, and doing so at an affordable price. We can't wait to get the season started!"
Highlights of the BayHawks 2011-12 promotions schedule are as follows:
December 1 "Red Panda" - a world-renowned performer whose talents will leave fans in awe
January 28 New York Knicks Affiliate Night - features the Knicks dance team & Knicks City Kids
February 18 Anton Brothers -will perform their human foot juggling act as seen in circuses worldwide
March 3 "K-9 Friz-B-Crew" Dogs - fans of all ages will love this high flying canine show
March 6 School Kids Jam - special 11am game time provides a field trip opportunity for schools
March 9 "Salute Our Troops" Night - BayHawks will wear commemorative uniforms & raise funds to provide military care packages prepared and shipped by LECOM students
April 6 Bobblehead Giveaway & Fan Appreciation Night
Five Dollar Family Fridays - Dec. 23, Jan. 13, Feb. 10 and March 9
Main Level tickets are $5 each and a Smith's Meal Deal is just $5 all game (hot dog, popcorn and soda)
High School Games (all games are boys matchups)
January 14 - Northwestern vs. Mercyhurst Prep (4:30 pm)
February 11 - Strong Vincent vs. East (1:30 pm); Harbor Creek vs. Iroquois (3:00 pm); Cambridge Springs vs. Union City (4:30 pm)
Individual game tickets are on sale now at the Tullio Arena box office. Erie's first home game this season is set for Thursday, December 1 at 7:00 pm at the Tullio Arena when the BayHawks face the Maine Red Claws. Season tickets and group tickets are also available and can be purchased by calling 814-790-5600.
