Legends Compete in Jamboree

Frisco, TX, NOV. 15, 2011 - The Texas Legends join the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Dakota Wizards, Austin Toros, and Tulsa 66ers for a two-day pre-season free jamboree on November 17-18, at the Integrated Athletic Development in Carrollton.

Game Schedule - November 17

1:00PM - Rio Grande Valley vs. Texas (Court 1)

1:00PM - Tulsa vs. Austin (Court 2)

2:30PM - Rio Grande Valley vs. Tulsa (Court 1)

2:30PM - Dakota vs. Texas (Court 2)

4:00PM - Austin vs. Dakota (Court 1)

1:00PM - Dakota vs. Rio Grande Valley (Court 1)

1:00PM - Texas vs. Austin (Court 2)

2:30PM - Austin vs. Rio Grande Valley (Court 1)

2:30PM - Dakota vs. Tulsa (Court 2)

4:00PM - Texas vs. Tulsa (Court 1)

"The regular season is right around the corner and the jamboree should help all of the coaches realize our team's strengths and weaknesses, and what we need to start placing more emphasis on during practice," said head coach Del Harris. "It's always exciting to see the plays you work on every day finally executed against real competition."

The event will take place at the Integrated Athletic Development in Carrollton. The IAD is one of the leading performance venues in North Texas.

"We are proud to be able to host this event," commented David Stephens of the IAD. "These are world-class athletes, and we look forward to hosting them in a first-class manner. While the IAD has basketball programs available for all ages and all levels of talent - this event demonstrates that our facility is among the best in North Texas."

The Legends will open up their season at home on Saturday, November 26th at 3:00PM. The Team plays at HP Court @ Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco.
