Erie BayHawks News Release

Erie, Pennsylvania, Tuesday, November 15 - The Erie BayHawks, presented by LECOM, have waived three players in their first round of cuts during the team's training camp: forward Joseph Kennerly III, forward Kayode Ayeni and guard Adrian Bowie.

The BayHawks training camp roster now stands at 13. All NBA Development League teams must have their opening night 10-man rosters determined by 5pm on November 23.

Erie hosts the Canton Charge and Fort Wayne Mad Ants this Saturday in a pre-season three-team exhibition at Penn State-Behrend's Junker Center. Each team will play the equivalent of a full game by facing each of the other two teams for two quarters apiece. Canton and Fort Wayne tip-off at 6:30 pm and fans will have a chance to meet the BayHawks players and get autographs during the night's first quarter of play. All tickets for Saturday's event are $5 each and can be purchased at the BayHawks office, 110 East 8th Street. Proceeds benefit the Emmaus Soup Kitchen.

The BayHawks open the regular season on November 25 on the road as they face the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on back-to-back nights.

Erie's first home game this season is set for Thursday, December 1 at 7:00 pm at the Tullio Arena when the BayHawks face the Maine Red Claws. Season tickets, group tickets and individual game tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 814-790-5600.
