
OurSports Central Names UFL Players of the Week

Virginia Destroyers running back Dominic Rhodes, Sacramento Mountain Lions linebacker Maurice Crum and Las Vegas Locomotives kicker Aaron Pettrey were named the OurSports Central United Football League Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively, for week one of the UFL season.
Rhodes finished with 23 carries for 178 yards, one touchdown and one reception for nine yards in the Destroyers' 23-13 victory over the Omaha Nighthawks. Rhodes played 9 seasons in the NFL, eight with the Indianapolis Colts and one season with the Oakland Raiders from 2001-10.
Crum collected 11.5 total tackles and one pass breakup in the Mountain Lions' 23-17 loss to the Las Vegas Locomotives. Crum is playing his third season in the UFL and played college football at Notre Dame.
Pettrey was 3-3 on field goals (21, 28 and 23 yards) and 2-2 on extra points in the Locos' victory over the Mountain Lions. Pettrey played in two games for the Cincinnati Bengals last season.
