Calgary Stampeders News Release
The Calgary Stampeders will host the inaugural Stampeders Fan Forum on Monday, Mar. 14 in the Red and White Club at McMahon Stadium. Doors for this interactive event open at 6:15 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
The Fan Forum provides fans of the Red and White with an off-season update from both football and business operations. Head coach/general manager John Hufnagel and president/COO Lyle Bauer will both speak and there will also be presentations on the club's business development and game-day activities for 2011. Following the sessions, there will be a question-and-answer period with all presenters.
¬ÅWe're excited to be hosting the inaugural Stampeders Fan Forum, ¬Â said Bauer. ¬Å"Stamps fans are very knowledgeable about our game and their opinion, suggestions and ideas are very important to us. The forum provides our loyal fanbase a sneak-peek of what to expect from our club in 2011 and also affords them an opportunity to ask questions and have their voice heard by our team. ¬Â
¬ÅSimilar events have been held by other organizations in the past and have been very well received and we know our fans will come out on March 14 and make this event a success as well. ¬Â
AM770 CHQR will broadcast live from the event and fans will have the opportunity to meet Stamps players, members of the Calgary Stampeder Outriders and Ralph the Dog. There will also be great Stamps giveaways and door prizes to be won.
Further details on the Stampeders Fan Forum can be found at Stampeders.com as the event nears.
