Published on September 6, 2010 under Indoor Football League (IFL) News Release
Richmond, Virginia: The IFL takes off to Chicago this week for the 2010 Pre-Season League Meetings. September 8th-10th, many IFL partners, staff, and teams will join together to focus on rebuilding and improvement within the league. With the IFL growing at a fast pace, the league meetings are being held at a perfect time to facilitate the leagues future in the 2011 season and beyond.
In the weeks leading up to the meetings, the IFL has added two additional teams in the West. The league will also hear an application for membership from a Mid-West based team during the meetings. The league office is very optimistic that at the conclusion of the meetings the league will likely consist of 28 quality teams.
"This is a very exciting time for the IFL," stated IFL Commissioner Tommy Benizio. "After completing two successful seasons, both on and off the field, the IFL is as strong ever. These league meetings will provide us a chance to plan and organize the future of America's Premier Indoor Football League."
