2010 NBA D-LEAGUE FINALS TIP OFF TOMORROW AT TULSA:
The 8th seeded Tulsa 66ers will face the 2nd seeded Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the 2009-10 NBA D-League Western Conference Champions, in the NBA D-League Finals, beginning with Game 1 this Sunday, April 25 at 4 p.m. CT at the Tulsa Convention Center. Games 2 and 3 (if necessary) will be played at the Sate Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas. Each game of the best-of-three Finals series will be broadcasted nationally on the VERSUS network. Both the he 66ers and the Vipers are in the playoffs for the first time.
SPURS RECALL ALONZO GEE AND CURTIS JERRELLS
The San Antonio Spurs announced that they have recalled guard/forward Alonzo Gee and guard Curtis Jerrells from the Austin Toros, the NBA Development League team owned and operated by the Spurs.
Gee, who was named D-League Rookie of the Year and All NBA D-League Second Team, appeared in 36 games for the Toros this season and averaged 21.0 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 38.2 minutes. In six playoff games he averaged 21.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.16 blocks in 38.7 minutes. Gee also appeared in 11 games for the Washington Wizards where he averaged 7.4 points and 2.9 rebounds in 16.5 minutes.
Jerrells appeared in 50 games this season with the Austin Toros and averaged 20.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.7 assists in 40.2 minutes and was named All NBA D-League Third Team. He was selected as the NBA Development League Performer of the Week twice this season, most recently for games played during the week of March 15 when he averaged 32.7 points, 6.3 assists and 5.7 rebounds. Jerrells also appeared in five preseason games for San Antonio, averaging 3.6 points and 1.8 assists in 14.8 minutes.

ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:
Nine players with NBA D-League experience competed in three NBA games last night, two as starters.
Miami's Dorell Wright finished with 15 points and five assists, in a two-point loss to Boston.
Jose Juan Barea came off the bench to score 14 points for the Mavericks, adding four rebounds and four assists in a loss to the Spurs.
Utah starter CJ Miles earned 10 points and four rebounds. Teammate Kyrylo Fesenko added nine points and five rebounds as a starter.
