SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Sioux Falls Skyforce defeated the Tulsa 66ers 106-99 at the Sioux Falls Arena on Friday night to force a deciding third game at the same venue on Sunday at 6 p.m. CT. Greg Stiemsma continued his strong play as of late as he nearly posted a triple-double with 24 points, 10 rebounds and eight blocks to help Sioux Falls extend their season for at least one more game.

After Tulsa jumped out to a five-point lead (11-6), Sioux Falls bounced back and led by as many as seven points before settling for a 26-22 lead after the first quarter. The game was tied at 33 apiece with just under eight minutes to go in the first half but Sioux Falls outscored Tulsa 20-7 the rest of the way to take a 53-40 halftime lead behind 10 first-half points from Leemire Goldwire.

Sioux Falls pushed the lead to 18 points three times in the third quarter but Tulsa went on a 20-8 run to end the quarter and trailed 77-71 heading into the final stanza. The Skyforce went up by 16 points (90-74) following back-to-back 3-pointers by Goldwire and appeared to be on their way to an easy victory. Tulsa made one final charge and pulled to within three points (99-96) with just over a minute to go. Stiemsma came up huge on the defensive end with four blocked shots in the final minute and the Skyforce made 5-of-7 free throws to pick up their first home postseason victory since 2007.

Goldwire scored 23 points off the bench including 10-of-11 free throws. David Bailey played all 48 minutes and posted 19 points and seven assists.

Deron Washington recorded 21 points including several highlight dunks. Thunder assignees Kyle Weaver and Mustafa Shakur added 20 and 18 points, respectively.
