Ice Begin Playoffs Wednesday Night In Cedar Rapids

INDIANAPOLIS, IN- The Indiana Ice will begin the first round of the 2010 Clark Cup Playoffs when they travel to Cedar Rapids, IA for game one Wednesday night against the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders from Cedar Rapids Ice Arena. The puck drops at 8:05 p.m.
This year's first round best-of-five series is a re-match of last year that saw the Ice defeat the RoughRiders three games to two in route to their first ever Clark Cup Championship. The Ice earned the third seed and their sixth consecutive USHL Clark Cup playoff berth with a 2009-10 regular season record of 33-24-3. In head-to-head regular season series play against Cedar Rapids, the advantage went to the Ice with a record of 3-2-0, including a 2-1-0 mark on the road.
Game two is Friday (4/9) in Cedar Rapids and the Ice will return home on Saturday (4/10) for game three at Indiana/World Skating Academy at Pan Am Plaza with the puck set to drop at 7:05 p.m. (Pepsi Coliseum is not available in the first round due to the annual Hoosier Horse Fair & Expo...First round games will be played at the Indiana/World Skating Academy at Pan Am Plaza in downtown Indianapolis)
