The Georgia Gwizzlies of the Continental Basketball League are seeking volunteers and interns for a variety of positions within the organization.The Gwizzlies are seeking volunteers for game day operations such as scorekeeping, operation of the scoreboard, shot clock along with other duties.
Interns are needed for positions such as ticket operations, coordinating volunteers, and media relations. Gwizzlies owner Embry Malone says, "Being an intern and volunteering with the Gwizzlies is a great way to break into the world of professional sports. Our interns and volunteers will gain valuable experience in a variety of areas which we hope will help in their professional lives."
