LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League start another busy weekend Thursday when they host their rival Rio Grande Valley at the Laredo Entertainment Center. EVERY fan (season ticket holders, groups, walk-up tickets) who attends the game will recieve TWO FREE Bucks dollar menu items of their choice. Laredo enters Thursday's contest two points behind Texas for third place in the Southern Conference and three points ahead of Rio Grande Valley and Corpus Christi for fourth.

After enter last weekend winning three of their previous five games the Bucks went 1-2 including losing two straight. Laredo fell at home 6-3 Saturday to Corpus and dropped a 4-3 decision Sunday in Odessa.

The Bucks are unbeaten in regulation against the Bees this season posting a 5-0-1 mark (2-0-1 in Laredo) against them. All three games between the two clubs in Laredo this season have gone to a shootout.

Laredo and Rio will meet seven times in the month of February with four of the games in Laredo and three taking place in Rio.

Starting the weekend of Jan 29th Bucks will play three games in three nights in seven straight weekends. In all, from January 29th-March 14th the Bucks will play 22 games in 44 days (10 home, 9 away). They are 1-2 so far in that span.

The Killer Bees enter Thursday's game tied for fifth place in the South with Corpus Christi after falling to the Ice Rays Sunday 6-0.
