BOISE, Idaho - Desmon Farmer rewrote the Bighorns record books once again Saturday night, pouring in a franchise-record 41 points to lift Reno to a 129-116 win over the Idaho Stampede in Qwest Arena.
Farmer, who now holds the top-three single-game scoring performances in franchise history, connected on 14-of-26 attempts from the floor and 10-of-11 free throw tries on the evening.
The Bighorns (8-12) took control in the fourth quarter of what was a back-and-forth affair. Reno outscored Idaho 42-30 in the final frame to cruise to its third-straight victory and to complete the weekend sweep over the Stampede (11-8).
Reno saw six players register double figures in scoring on Saturday, including an 18-point effort for Cezary Trybanski, and 16 points apiece for Doug Thomas and Mo Charlo. As a team, the Bighorns shot 57 percent from the floor and better than 83 percent from the stripe.
Idaho leaned on 36 points from Coby Karl and a 31-point effort by Patty Mills. Mildon Ambres pulled down 13 boards for the Stampede.
