Toronto, ON - (November 17, 2009) - Casey Printers, Ricky Foley and Skyler Green were named the Gibson's Finest CFL Players of the Week for the division Semi-Finals weekend, the Canadian Football League announced today.
The four players were chosen by a panel of judges that includes former Canadian Football League players Matt Dunigan and Duane Forde, now ofTSN, and Pierre Vercheval of RDS.

QB - Casey Printers - BC Lions

Highlights / Key Stats:
Casey Printers was excellent for BC on Sunday leading the Lions to a 34-27 overtime victory against the Ticats in the Eastern Semi-Final. Printers threw for 360 yards and a touchdown connecting on 24 of 35 pass attempts. Printers also added a rushing touchdown in the win.
Printers hit Ian Smart for an eight-yard touchdown strike on the Lions' possession in overtime to secure the win. Printers also showed off his excellent mobility in the game. Several times it looked likeHamilton defenders had Printers wrapped up in the backfield only to have him escape and avoid a costly loss.

Regular season sack champion Ricky Foley continued his excellent play for the Lions defence this weekend, earning him both Defensive and Canadian Player of the Week honours following his performance in the Eastern Semi-Final. TheYorkUniversity product racked up six tackles with two sacks and a forced fumble in the Lions victory inHamilton on Sunday.
Foley set the tone for the Lions defence early on by stuffing DeAndra' Cobb at the line of scrimmage on the Ticats second offensive play of the game, forcingHamilton to punt. Foley seemed to get stronger throughout the game recording five of his tackles and both of his sacks during the fourth quarter and overtime.

Skyler Green was excellent returning kicks for the Eskimos in their loss to the Stampeders in the Western Semi-Final on Sunday. AfterCalgary extended their lead to nine points early in the third quarter, Green answered by returning the ensuing kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown.
Green racked up 176 yards on five kick returns including the 93-yard touchdown for an average of 35.2 yards per return. Green also averaged 19.3 yards per punt return for a total of 77 yards on four returns.
