
MLS Commissioner Don Garber And Drew Carey To Participate In 11th Annual Supporters Summit

NEW YORK (Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009) - MLS Commissioner Don Garber and Seattle Sounders FC minority owner, Drew Carey will participate in the 11th annual Supporters Summit hosted by Seattle Sounders FC supporter groups during MLS Cup weekend on Saturday, November 21.
The MLS Commissioner will deliver a special address to some of the League's most dedicated and fervent fans, after which Carey will moderate a question and answer session. The summit will also include a formal discussion addressing the officiating and technical structure of MLS with top League stakeholders, Joe Machnik and Alfonso Mondelo.
MLS supporter groups play a large role in the growth and development of soccer in the United States. The goal of the Supporters Summit is to build relationships among these supporter groups, create a lasting community, and provide an environment for them to interact with key League representatives
