
Harrisburg High School To Host Intrasquad Scrimmage

Sioux Falls, S.D. (November 12, 2009) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that Harrisburg High School will host an intrasquad scrimmage on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. The event will be the first time fans can see the team in action and 2009-10 season ticket packages will be available for pickup. Harrisburg High School is located at 1300 W. Willow St. in Harrisburg, S.D.
Cost for the scrimmage is $5 for adults and $3 for children and all proceeds will help support Harrisburg Tiger athletic programs. Skyforce coaches and players will also host a free clinic from 5:30-6:30 p.m. for all Big Sioux Youth Basketball League players.
Fans are encouraged to come and see Raymond Sykes, the thirteenth overall pick in the 2009 NBA Development League Draft, Joe Krabbenhoft, a former Roosevelt High and University of Wisconsin forward, and the rest of the team in action as they battle for a spot on the opening day roster.
The training camp roster will be trimmed to 12 players on Wednesday, Nov. 18 and the team will travel to Hazelton, N.D. for a preseason game against the archrival Dakota Wizards on Friday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. The opening day roster will be announced on Wednesday, Nov. 25 as the 2009-10 NBA D-League regular season tips off on Friday, Nov. 27 with six games.
Season tickets and 12-ticket flex packs are on sale for the 2009-10 season. Discounts and benefits are also available for groups of 10 or more.
