Surge Announce Roster For Season Opener

BILOXI, MS - The Mississippi Surge announced the roster for tonight's season opener against the Louisiana Ice Gators at Blackham Coliseum in Lafayette, Louisiana.
The opening night roster consists of goaltenders Ryan Senft and John Hallas; defensemen Shane Wagner, Matthew Larke, Daryl Moor, Jack Wolgemuth, Jeff Bieber, and Steve Weidlich, and forwards Mike Richard, Matt Zultek, Tim Velemirovich, Chris Greene, Steven Koich, Greg McCauley, Stephen Schofield, Ryan Bartle, Tom Boudreau, and Chris Ferazzoli. Forward Andrew Boudreau was left off the opening night roster due to pending immigration paperwork and is expected to be added to the team roster next week.
Audio broadcasts of all road games will be available for free via the Surge website (www.mssurge.com ) by clicking the "listen live" link on the right-hand column. Fans can also purchase a live video web stream from B2 Networks, also available via link on the team website, for a nominal fee.
Single-game tickets for the 2009-10 season are now on sale! The Surge will celebrate opening night October 24 at 7:30 p.m. against the Louisiana Ice Gators. The first 2,000 fans ages 18 and above will receive a Surge cap courtesy of The People's Bank and CableOne, and the first 5,000 fans magnet schedules from Z95.3 FM and Kicker 107.9 FM.
