Charlotte Eagles News Release
The Charlotte Eagles would like to take this opportunity to announce the retirement of Dustin Swinehart and Ben Johnson at the end of the 2009 Season.
Dustin (YT) Swinehart has been the cornerstone of the Eagles offense for the past twelve seasons. As the Eagles' all-time leading scorer on the field and an integral part of the Charlotte Eagles' organization off the field he will truly be missed.
Ben Johnson, an eleven year veteran, has been a solid anchor in the Eagles' defense. He has also been a leader both on and off the field for players, staff and fans. He will continue to be responsible for Local Partnerships and Appearances in the Charlotte Eagles' organization.
Look for future press releases this week celebrating the careers of both Dustin Swinehart and Ben Johnson.
Please look us up on facebook... "Charlotte Eagles Soccer Club" and leave a testimonial or experience you had with one of these players.
This Saturday night, August 15, 2009, may be your last chance to see these guys in action. Be sure to buy your tickets today! The Charlotte Eagles vs Western Mass at 7 PM at Charlotte Christian Stadium.
