
Stars recall Fabian Brunnstrom From Manitoba

The Manitoba Moose, in conjunction with the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced the Stars have recalled forward Fabian Brunnstrom.
Brunnstrom, 23, appeared in one game with the Moose after being reassigned on Wednesday, Jan. 28/09. In 31 games this season with the Stars, the Jonstrop, Sweden native has scored 14 points (10-4-14), and two penalty minutes. He scored his first career NHL hat-trick in his very first NHL game on Oct. 15/08 vs Nashville. He scored the game winning goal, and added an assist Dec. 23/08 at Toronto. Brunnstrom also scored game winning goals Dec. 2/08 at Calgary and Dec. 12/08 vs Detroit.
Last season Brunnstrom played in 54 games with Farjestads BK Karlstad of the SEL, scoring 37 points (9-28-37) and 16 penalty minutes.
