INDIANAPOLIS - If the Indiana Fever defeats the Detroit Shock in its Eastern Conference Semifinals game Tuesday evening, the Fever will host Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Thursday night at Conseco Fieldhouse (7:00 p.m.). Tickets for that game would go on sale, on FeverBasketball.com, immediately following Tuesday's game.
In the event that Indiana qualifies for what would be its third Eastern Conference Finals appearance in the past four seasons, tickets will be available at all distribution points including the Conseco Fieldhouse Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets or by calling (317) 239-5151, on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 10:00 a.m.
As the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference, Indiana would be guaranteed to host Game 1 of the conference finals series against either Connecticut or New York - which will be decided Monday evening. Games 2 and 3 of the conference finals would take place Saturday and Sunday, at Connecticut or New York.
Led by WNBA All-Stars Tamika Catchings, Katie Douglas and Tammy Sutton-Brown, the Fever bids for its first WNBA Finals appearance after reaching the Eastern Conference Finals in 2005 and 2007.
