
Bowling Green Pro Baseball and WBGN Announce Two-Year Radio Deal

Bowling Green, KY- Bowling Green Pro Baseball, the Class-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, and Forever Communications today announced a two-year partnership that will make "1340, WBGN, The Ticket" and www.1340wbgn.com the radio home for all 140 Bowling Green Pro Baseball games, home and away, through 2010.
"We are excited to begin this partnership with Forever Communications to provide our fans with the chance to follow the team all season long on the area's top all-sports radio station -1340, WGBN, The Ticket," said Bowling Green General Manager/CEO Brad Taylor. "We look forward to creating an identity on 'The Ticket' and working with them to generate a buzz about our inaugural season."
"The entire community is very excited about professional baseball coming to Bowling Green, and we're thrilled to be a part of it," said Forever Communications General Manager Mark Mackey. "We look forward to bringing first-class coverage of the team and really can't wait for it all to get started."
Opening Day for Bowling Green Pro Baseball in its new, state-of-the-art baseball stadium is scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2009 against the Kannapolis (NC) Intimidators, Class-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. Bowling Green Pro Baseball is accepting deposits on Season Tickets and Luxury Suites at www.BowlingGreenProBaseball.com or by calling (270) 901-2121. Full-Season Tickets are valued at just $595 per seat for all 70 home games per season. Deposits can be made for seating at $100 per seat. If deposits are made online, a team representative will call to confirm the order and will follow up with seat selection and full payment information at a later date.
