Batavia Muckdogs News Release
The Batavia Muckdogs, Class A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, have only two home games remaining and are in the thick of a pennant race! Currently the Muckdogs have a half-game lead over the second-place Jamestown Jammers. If the Muckdogs can win both of their remaining home games they will clinch a spot in the NY-Penn League playoffs. They can also advance by winning one of their games, if Jamestown or Brooklyn loses one of their remaining games.
Here's what is happening at beautiful Dwyer Stadium tonight and tomorrow...
Tonight, at 7:05 p.m., gates open at 6 p.m. State College Spikes vs. the Muckdogs ... POST GAME FIREWORKS!!! Rob Thompson (from Attica, NY) will give away his new book -- The Bills are Due -- to the first 250 fans. Former Bills Mark Kelso and Donnie Green will sign autographs pre-game.
Tomorrow at 7:05 p.m., gates open at 6 p.m. State College Spikes vs. Muckdogs ...final game of the regular season ... Fan Appreciation Night with tons of prizes to be given away during the game.
