Port Huron Icehawks News Release

PORT HURON, MI - The Port Huron Icehawks recently awarded a lucky season ticket holder with a big-screen plasma television courtesy of Best Buy.

Season ticket holder Scott Harris was the lucky winner of the television in a drawing held at the Icehawks front office. All fans that put a $50 deposit down on their season tickets by August 1st were entered in the drawing.

"This is absolutely amazing," Harris said. "This is another first class scenario by a first class organization."

Though the deadline for the television has passed, season tickets are still available at the Icehawks office. Prices have been reduced for the upcoming season to make it more affordable for fans to catch all 38 home games at McMorran Arena.

Two packages are available: the Center Ice package (Sections 9, 10, 11, 12) and the Attack Zone package (all other sections). The Center Ice package is only $539, while Attack Zone seats are just $349. Both packages include tickets to all 38 home games at McMorran Arena, tickets to the exhibition game, and priority for playoff tickets.

Icehawks season ticket holders will receive a number of exclusive benefits, as well, including a 10% merchandise discount, a private Skate With the Players event, recognition in the Icehawks yearbook and online, chance to win a limited edition gift through the season ticket holder of the game promotion, four complimentary ticket vouchers to share with friends and more.

The Icehawks are also offering a Refer A Friend program to encourage fans to spread the word about the team. When existing season ticket holders refer a friend who was not previously a season ticket holder to become a new customer, they will receive a $50 credit to their ticket account.

The Icehawks are set to open the season with a Turner Cup Finals rematch versus the Komets at home on Friday, October 17. Season tickets are available at the Icehawks office at 325 Huron Avenue, or by calling at 810-966-3800.
