The Dog Days of Summer returns this Saturday, June 28th when the Palm Beach Cardinals take on the Tampa Yankees at 6:05 PM. On Saturday, the gates will open at 5:00 and fans can bring their favorite four-legged friend to the ballpark (dogs only please)!
Roger Dean Stadium is celebrating its' 7th year of hosting this special dog friendly promotion. This summer, the Jupiter Hammerheads and Palm Beach Cardinals have once again partnered with Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League on their monthly tribute to "Man's Best Friend". Other sponsors of Dogs Days include Donald Ross Village Animal Hospital, Elite Greyhound Adoptions, Four Paws Country Club, Friends of Jupiter Beach, The Fur Seasons, Hospice of Palm Beach County, Natural Balance Pet Food, NaturalPetFoodMarket.com, Pet Daddy Pet Sitting, Royal Dog Walking Corp, Tasty Image, and Woof Gang Bakery.
In April and May over 200 dogs have come out to cheer on the Palm Beach Cardinals. After Saturday, the final two Dog Days will be held on July 26th and August 23rd.
