Halifax Rainmen News Release
(Halifax, N.S.) Two Halifax Rainmen players have been invited to the Toronto Raptors free agent camp to be held this weekend, June 20-22 in Toronto. Seven-foot three centre from North Carolina James Tyler and 6'8" winger Brian Silverhorn will show off their skills to the pro-league.
"I am so proud of them. I believe this invitation shows that coach Rick Lewis has developed players to a point that they are now being considered by the NBA," said Halifax Rainmen owner Andre Levingston
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
