MOBILE, Ala. - After falling behind in the first inning for the second straight night, the BayBears showed no fear against Jacksonville ace Clayton Kershaw in a 6-5 win over the Jacksonville Suns.

James Tomlin led off the contest with a dinger to left field off BayBears (18-20) starter Hector Ambriz, who worked 4.2 innings, picking up his second no-decision. Kershaw received a 2-0 lead after one inning but gave it up in the fourth.

Chris Rahl started the rally with an infield single and scored on a Bryan Byrne base hit. Byrne came home on a Cesar Nicolas double to put the BayBears in front 3-2.
