
Disciplinary Committee hands-out several suspensions

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, November 27, 2006 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League disciplinary committee today imposed a few suspensions following last week-end's games.
Kirill Tulupov of the Sagueneens was suspended two games for kneeing a Remparts player in last Friday's match-up.
Also, following Sunday's game between Moncton and PEI, Chirs Morehouse of the Wildcats received an additional one-game suspension to the automatic one-game suspension he received for being the aggressor in a fight. Brad Ouskun and Nick Emmanuele of the Wildcats were handed-out automatic one-game suspensions after having reached their fourth extreme misconduct penalties of the season. Finally, Tyler Hawes of the Rocket is suspended one game after having been the aggressor in a fight.
These decisions were rendered after viewing the videotapes of the incidents and consulting all concerned parties. The suspensions are in effect as of today.
In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the disciplinary committee will not be available for further comment.
