
Ducks vs Surf postponed

(Central Islip N.Y., June 24, 2006) - Tonight's game versus the Atlantic City Surf has been postponed due to inclement weather conditions. The game will be rescheduled for Monday, July 10 at 7:05 p.m. Tonight's scheduled Lunch Box giveaway will also take place on July 10. The first 1,500 kids in attendance will receive lunch boxes courtesy of Nathan's Famous.
Tonight's Nathan's Famous Hot Dog eating contest is on as scheduled.
Tonight's (June 24) game ticket will be good for the 7:05 p.m. game on July 10 ONLY.
The Long Island Ducks are in their seventh season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. They have averaged over 100 percent attendance capacity of 6,002-seat Citibank Park in each of their first six seasons and are one of the most successful minor league sports franchises in the country.
