We are sad to announce that Cy Young winner Bob Welch will not be returning as our Pitching Coach this season. We were notified a few days ago by the Dodgers and they stated it is due to family reasons. We wish him well and want him to know he is always welcome here. I will let you know as soon as possible with the name of his replacement.
For those of you in the area, please make note that we are starting to book dates for the All You Can Eat Pre-Game Picnics. If your planning to have a group picnic outing this season, please check out the schedule and call us fast. Dates are booked on a first come first serve basis.
Speaking of picnics! Did you know your group can use Lindquist Field for your company outing while the Raptors are on the road? That's right, you can play ball right here in downtown Ogden. If you book your catering through us, which is the best food anyway, we'll let you use the park for free! Call us for more information. We tried it last year with Petersen Inc. and they loved it, so we are offering it to everyone.
Attention Season Ticket Holders. We have started a referral program. Email us 3 referrals for either Reserved Box Seats or the Box Seat Vouchers, and for everyone we sign up, we will pay you a 10% commission in the form of Raptor Bucks that can be used for food and souvenirs during the season. It's that simple. We would appreciate it if you helped out with this venture.
In case I haven't mentioned it before, there will be a slight change in our Home Uniforms. This season the front number of the jersey will be red. This will give us additional recognition as an affiliate of the Dodgers.
The "Snack Rack" will be back again for this season. In case you don't know, the "Snack Rack" is a folding tray table that affixes to the backs of the individual stadium style seats. This allows a place to set your food items while you enjoy the game. I am also looking for a couple of sponsors for the "Snack Rack". Sponsorship includes having your company logo and message displayed on the face of each "Snack Rack". You don't have to live here to be a sponsor, so if you are a company who believes in product branding, the "Snack Rack" is for you. You can see a video of the "Snack Rack" and it's origin by scrolling down to the bottom left corner of the home page of our website and click the photo icon just above the Pioneer League logo. Again, if you are interested please go visit the site, or forward the information to someone in your company who would be the decision maker.
