Rickey Henderson bobbleheads at Surprise Stadium Saturday

SURPRISE, Ariz. (Aug. 26, 2005) - Fans who missed out on getting one of the 1,000 Rickey Henderson bobbleheads during the Surprise Fightin' Falcons' July 4 game will get another chance Saturday when the Falcons will hand out 500 more before a doubleheader against the San Diego Surf Dawgs.

Henderson, a future Hall of Famer, will be making his final Surprise Stadium appearance this season as the Falcons and Surf Dawgs square off in a four-game series through Sunday.

Prior to Saturday's doubleheader, which begins at 6:05 p.m., the first 500 fans through the gate will receive a Henderson bobblehead, featuring the outfielder in his Surf Dawgs uniform.

The game will also feature a pregame performance from the Willow Canyon High School band. Between games, Washington Mutual Bank is hosting a Charity Cash Scramble for $1,500, which will benefit Homeward Bound and the 100 Club.

The Henderson bobblehead giveaway is part of the Falcons' weekend salute to their fans. Friday night's game will feature a postgame fireworks show, sponsored by the City of Surprise. And the first 1,000 fans to Sunday's game will receive a 2005 Falcons team poster on Darby Photographic Team Poster Night. Prior to the game, fans will receive the opportunity to have all players and coaches sign autographs before the game.
