
AIF to Add West Division

BALTIMORE MD--(October 1st, 2015) - Today starts a new era in the American Indoor Football (AIF) league. John Morris Owner/Commissioner is excited to announce the formation of the AIF West. The West will consist of the Corpus Christi Furry, New Mexico Stars, Mile High Menace and the Pineywoods Bucks.
"This is another momentous day for the AIF and our followers," said John Morris, "To have a west presence is huge for us as we move to be a true National League."
The AIF now has 19 teams, with more announcements to come soon. The league may set up to be four divisions which will be determined by the member team owners. League play will kick-off in March of 2016 and conclude with the AIF National Championship in June.
Morris added, "We anticipate providing more information and details in cities where our teams will play in the immediate future. The AIF is set up to be an industry leader."
The west division will set up the AIF, the longest continuous running indoor league, as the largest in the country.
Chad Dittman, Team President of the Corpus Christi Fury, said. "We are excited to join the oldest and largest indoor football in the World."

Michael "Buddy" Dixon, Owner of the Pineywoods Bucks, states. "The Pineywoods Bucks are very excited about being a part of the #1 indoor football league in the world! The competition is awesome, great leaders within the league and the best group of team owners anywhere. What more could we have asked for?"
"We weighed all of our options and after weeks of negotiations we were able to put this deal and come to terms with the AIF." Said Tracy Duran owner of the New Mexico Stars. "We are excited to be a part of the largest indoor football league and proud to bring the AIF brand to our city and fans."
