UIFL Announces 1st Expansion Team for 2013 Season

FT. MYERS, FL - The UIFL is announcing its first expansion team for the 2013 season as they will be placing a team in St. Charles, Missouri, which is a suburb of St. Louis. The Missouri Monsters will play their home games at the Family Arena, which last hosted indoor football in 2009. The RiverCity Rage went to the title game in its final season at the arena.
Assuming the logo of the Kentucky Monsters, the Missouri team will be purple, black and yellow. In addition, they will be treated as an expansion team - thus none of the River Monsters records will be assumed by the new organization.
