Continental Basketball League Welcomes The Heartland Prowl

March 28, 2011 - Continental Basketball League (CBL) News Release


The Continental Basketball League is pleased to announce the addition of the Heartland Prowl to its roster of teams for the 2011 season. Director of Basketball Operations Gary Perry made the announcement on Monday.

The Prowl, a former member of the American Basketball Association, are owned by Levi Williams, the owner of Paramount Sports Group, LLC which is based in Sebring, FL.

Williams says of his acceptance into the CBL, "I am very happy to have the opportunity to play in an up and coming league like the CBL. I think this is a great opportunity for myself and the team to be able to bring basketball to Sebring during the spring and early summer months."

Director of Basketball Operations Gary Perry says of Williams and the Prowl organization, "Levi has a great basketball mind and has tremendous ideas and marketing skills. We cannot be happier with the addition of the Prowl to our family of teams."

Williams will be the coach of the team who are tentatively set to play their home games at Sebring High School with their schedule set to be announced in the coming days.
