Rush Sign Unrestriceted Free-Agent Goaltender Chris Levis to a two-year deal

Edmonton, AB---A six-year veteran of National Lacrosse League action, Levis has spent the previous three seasons with the Colorado Mammoth. Last season with the Mammoth, the 32-year-old native of Windsor, Ont., compiled a 10.05 goals-against average along with a .789 save-percentage in over 300 minutes of action - the second-highest amount of time he has spent in the cage during his career.

"We are excited to have Chris as part of the Rush. Chris brings experience and knowledge of what it takes to win at this level." said Rush GM/Head Coach Bob Hamley.

Levis joined the Mammoth following a four-year layoff from the NLL where he had previously played with Columbus, New York and two tours of duty with Buffalo. The six-foot-one, 213-pounder plays his summer lacrosse with Coquitlam Adanacs of B.C.'s Western Lacrosse Association and this past season finished second among the league's netminders with both a 7.10 goals-against average and a .827 save-percentage. With the Adanacs, Levis racked up an impressive 8-3-1 record.
