In the NFL, John helped propel the Minnesota Vikings (2001) and Detroit Lions (90s).

"I feel honored to be on a committee that will enhance the game of football through a new league and concept," John Fontes said.

Wayne and John Fontes add to the NFL realm of the AIFL started by Tim McKyer. McKyer is AIFL Commissioner and 3-time NFL champion.

"The AIFL is going in the direction it should be and that is proven by Wayne and John Fontes.
