Savoie Helps ICE Hold off Edmonton

Matthew Savoie scored twice in the third period to lead the Winnipeg ICE to a 5-2 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings Saturday night in front of a sold out crowd at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena. Savoie also assisted on Ben Zloty's second period goal and now leads the WHL with 44 points in 27 games.
