Patriots Open 2019 Season with Series Win over Bees

Bridgewater, NJ - The Somerset Patriots (2-1) defeated the New Britain Bees (1-2) 4-1 on Sunday afternoon at TD Bank Ballpark to take the opening series of the 2019 season. Somerset took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning on a sacrifice fly by Mike Fransoso.
