Mavericks Acquire Eric Neilson from Monarchs

INDEPENDENCE, MO - The Missouri Mavericks announced Tuesday afternoon that they have acquired right wing, Eric Neilson from the Manchester Monarchs (ECHL) in exchange for future considerations. Neilson, 31, started his 2015-16 season with the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League (AHL). He was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft (Round 5, #143 overall).
