Pirates Spooked by Americans in 4-3 Loss

Portland, ME - The Portland Pirates (3-4-0-0) fell to the Rochester Americans (4-5-0-0) in a 4-3 Halloween Matinee loss at the Cross Insurance Arena on Saturday afternoon. The Pirates made the first mark in the game, but were unable to keep up with the Americans who scored three goals in the second period on their way to the win.
