KAMLOOPS, BC- The Prince George Cougars (17-19-1-1) nearly pulled off the unthinkable Saturday, falling just a goal short in their 3-2 loss to the Kamloops Blazers (24-11-1-0) at the Sandman Centre.
Prince George, who started the game with just 15 skaters, put in a hard-fought effort against the top team in the B.C. Division, but in the end, they ran out of gas.
