Allen, Texas - The Professional Hockey Players' Association announced today that Allen Americans forward, Gary Steffes is the inaugural recipient of the 2014-2015 Heart, Hustle, and Desire Award voted on by ECHL players. The award is given to the ECHL player who demonstrates heart, hustle, and desire each game, as well as being the hardest working player in the league.
