Hopkins' Solid Start, Boulders' Bats Fly Past Aigles
Trois-Rivieres scored one run in the top of the first to take an early lead when Michael Suchy scored unearned on a close call at the plate. Taylor Brennan hit a solo home run in the eighth inning for the Aigles' only other run. Rockland quickly responded to the Aigles' by tying the game in the bottom of the first on a Conor Bierfeldt double that drove in JC Rodriguez, who was hit by a pitch to leadoff for the Boulders.
