SEVIERVILLE, TN - The Chicago Cubs have named Tennessee Smokies outfielder Jeffrey Baez the organization's minor league player of the month for April. Jeffrey Baez, 24, hit .411 (23-for-56) with seven doubles, one triple, three homers, 15 RBI and seven runs scored in 21 April contests.
