Chiefs Throw First No-Hitter Since 2000, Power Past Indy for Doubleheader Sweep
The combination of Austin Voth, David Goforth, Tim Collins and Austin Adams combined to throw the 17th no-hitter in Syracuse Chiefs franchise history as Syracuse beat Indianapolis, 5-0, in game one of a doubleheader. In game two, Syracuse scored five runs in the first inning on the way to a 7-0 win. The no-hitter was the Chiefs' first since 2000, when Leo Estrella threw a seven inning perfect game, also against Indianapolis. ... Full Story
