It is with great sadness that the Calgary Stampeders learn of the death of former player and team president Bill Britton. He passed away at his Calgary home on Monday at the age of 82. Britton joined the Stamps in 1962 as a result of a three-way trade involving Toronto and BC. The University of Western Ontario alum started his CFL career with four seasons with the BC Lions.
