Wheeling's Carr Named CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Doug Carr of the Wheeling Nailers is the CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Oct. 24-30. The 27-year-old went 2-0-0 with a 1.44 goals-against average and a save percentage of .957 in two appearances last week. Carr stopped 45 shots - and stopped five of six shootout attempts - in a 3-2 win at Kalamazoo on Friday and made 22 saves in an 8-1 victory over the K-Wings on Saturday. A native of Hanover, Ma...
