Fort Wayne, IN-- The Komets took a split of their preseason two-game series with Indy by topping the Fuel 5-2 Saturday night at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis. Forward Kyle Thomas netted a pair of goals while David Freidmann, Mason Baptista and Cody Sol each contributed markers. Garrett Bartus and John McLean each took their turn in the Fort Wayne net.
